Our Services

Rats and Mice

  • Rats are nocturnal and are normally heard scratching and chirping late at night or morning.
  • Rats poop and pee as they walk and can destroy your attic insulation in a short time.
  • Rats can transmit diseases to humans through contact with their urine and feces.
  • Rats can begin breeding as young as 3 months old.

  • When you have raccoons in your attic, it's generally very noticeable.
  • It sounds like a human is walking across the ceiling in the middle of the night.
  • Raccoons are the largest animals that inhabit attics.
  • They can cause thousands of dollars worth of damage.
  • They can damage your A/C duct-work and even your drywall.
  • Raccoon feces and urine are recognized by the CDC as being extremely toxic to humans.
  • This can be very dangerous because raccoons tend to rip and tear your A/C duct-work, allowing the toxic spores to enter your home's air conditioning system.

  • Squirrels can cause extensive damage to the electrical wiring, a/c duct-work in your attic.
  • Squirrels are also very territorial and will stop at nothing to get back into your attic once they have been blocked out.
  • When you have squirrels in your attic, the infestation is not generally noticed right away because they are diurnal.
  • Squirrels generally cause damage from chewing on wires.

  • Skunks are subterranean animals and have large front claws to dig underneath the foundation of your home.
  • Skunks are well adapted to living in urban environments.
  • Skunks can carry rabies and should not be handled by anyone except trained professionals.
  • Skunks spray a potent odor from glands under the base of the tail when they feel threatened.
  • Skunks can be extremely dangerous to family pets. Their large front claws and odorous liquid that is sprayed from their glands can inflict harm to your pets eyes, lungs and body.

  • Opossums are nocturnal animals with sharp teeth and powerful tails.
  • Opossums carry fleas and can cause flea infestations in homes or on pets.
  • Opossums will eat almost anything that they can scavenge from trash, pet food and occasionally plants.
  • Opossums are known for playing dead when they are threatened. Their foul smell is a very effective method of warding off their predators.

  • Snakes can be found in your walls and in the attic. Most of the time snakes come into these areas to eat rats and mice.
  • Snakes are cold blooded and will seek out warm areas in and around the home during the winter to stay warm. This includes areas in your attic such as: hot water heaters, furnaces, canned lights.
